The 2008 CERI Research Brief shares the findings from early research by the College Employment Research Institute at Michigan State University and how it led to the development and delivery of the Unpacking Your Study Abroad Experiences seminars for returning study abroad participants. The process used is highlighted and the authors share some of the stories they have unpacked to illustrate the reframing of student experiences during the briefing. The authors provide tools for students to use in unpacking their experience as well as tips on marketing their experience in a more effective way.
