ONLINE APPLICATION FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SPECIALIZATION SCHOLARSHIPS
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only Michigan State University International Business (IB) Specialization students are eligible to apply. If you have not declared an IB specialization, your application will NOT be considered.
The International Business Center at the Eli Broad College of Business offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified MSU business students on a competitive.
Below is the procedure for applying for these International Business Specialization Scholarship funds:
- Students must fill out an application online at: http://ciber.bus.msu.edu/studyabroad/IBApplication.asp
- All MSU business undergraduate students who have declared an IB specialization with undergraduate advising, and who have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0, are encouraged to apply.
- Preference will be given to students who have fulfilled their language requirement and completed their study abroad and/or internship experience. Students who have completed the language requirement in multiple languages, and/or completed multiple study abroad or internship experiences, may indicate this in the application.
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of a points system. Point totals are determined by GPA, language completion, study abroad/internship completion, and an essay. A detailed explanation of the point system may be obtained by contacting the International Business Center at 353-4336 or ciber@msu.edu.
- The deadline to apply for these awards is September 15th.
- All applicants will be notified as to the decision on their application within one month after the application deadline. Students who are awarded a scholarship will be provided additional information and details on the award.
