Asian/Pacific Faculty Development Program at Western Michigan University Western Michigan University, MSU-CIBER and the U.S. Department of Education are co-sponsoring a conference called, "The Third Facing East/Facing West Conference: A Multidisciplinary Conference on North America’s Relations with Asian/Pacific Countries" on June 2-3, 2000. This conference will provide a forum to discuss business, social, legal, economic and political issues concerning North America’s relations with Asian/pacific countries. The conference is multidisciplinary and multicultural in nature. Academic, corporate and government sectors are invited to participate in the program.
