Program Evaluation
The 5th Biennial International Business Institute for Community College Faculty is a unique professional development program designed specifically for community and technical college faculty. The Institute is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, experience and resources they need to internationalize general business courses and/or develop specialized international business courses at the two-year college level. The program was a huge success. 49 business faculty were hosted at Michigan State University from the following areas: Puerto Rico, California, Nebraska, Washington, Wyoming, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin, New York, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Oregon, Florida, Minnesota, Canada, Idaho, Illinois, Montana, and Kansas. The program was rich and stimulating. All participants left with a good appreciation of globalization issues and knowledge of international business and world areas.

The Fifth Biennial International Business Institute for Community College Faculty was co-sponsored by CIBERs at Michigan State University, Ohio State University, Purdue University, Temple University, University of California at Los Angeles, University of Florida, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, University of Kansas, University of Memphis, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, University of Washington, National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE), and The MSU Office of the Vice Provost for University Outreach.
